		<description>Oh yea, the tentacles definitely get detatched and can still sting.  Cubozoans (box jelly family) are powerful.  Fortunatley the species we have here isn&#039;t deadly...unless your allergic.</description>

That jelly is definitely a box jelly of some sort (nasty fuckers...similar to the ones in Australia you always hear about)...they are the only jellies that can move against the current.  Definitely don&#039;t want to get stung by one of those.</description>
