Well the wind has been blowing over 20 knots for about a week now . Actually yesterday they said it would be windy but it actually seemed pretty nice.
There is new store in Key West with spear fishing gear, called Divercity, located on the southern end of Duval.
Its pretty small but they have a lot of free dive spear fishing stuff. It’s the only store in Keys that selling rabitech guns and free diver shafts. Actually they might even be the only store in Florida that sells either of those. They are also selling stuff on consignment. I guess they will be doing a bunch of equipment rentals etc.
It will be nice to just be able to go get a shaft if needed rather then having to order one online.

Well its blowing 24 knots right now out on the reef. No idea what the vis is or anything. Cleaned the Boat, changed the layout of this blog, so I could embed the videos without reducing their size. Also hit visitors with more info with less scrolling.

Anyone know about Barbados holidays. ? Catherine and I have planning a trip to the Caribbean to check out other islands for fun and to look for perspective places to live. Key West is nice and all but its pretty expensive. For the time being most of our work is done online so it would totally be possible to live in another country and keep our jobs. We were thinking about going to Belize but I was reading on one of the spear fishing forums that Barbados Holiday is worth checking out. Apparently the fishing is good there and spear fishing is allowed. There are bunch of charter boats advertising online. There is also 20 miles of barrier reef ranging for 40 to 60 feet of depth, which is perfect for free diving. A Holiday Barbados. seems like it would be pretty good for both fishing and diving, there are bunch of scuba diving sites also advertising scuba trips to wrecks their off the coast. It also looks like just glancing at one website that you are allowed to harvest fish there on scuba which is different then most of Caribbean where spearing on scuba is banned. But definitely check out those regulations before planning a trip there.

Totally unrelated to spearfishing, but apparently the Iguanas Hatched a mess of babies near my backyard. There is like a dozen of these little things running around out there.

I uploaded a couple videos, nothing too exciting a pack of jacks hunting on the reef with a nurse shark and a bull shark attacking a flats boat I was fishing in.
