Been quite a while since I published a video, the e-pl1 has been very disappointing when it comes to video. It take great quality video when the vis is perfect or the camera woman is very close to her subject. If you throw in a little distance and some particulate in the water the auto-focus goes to crap.

I picked up a gopro camera with a flat lens and it has been working great. The quality is not as great as the e-pl1 but it’s in focus which counts for more anyway. Also I can bring on the boat when I go out without Cat. So all in all I have been very happy with the purchase.

Kind of kicking myself for not getting the gopro sooner, missed out on some really awesome days.

Tortugas and Towers Video

I put together some video from the past couple months. I am kind of torn on whether I should wait like a year saving up clips or just post whatever I have. I know the longer I wait the better the video is but at the same time, it eliminates a lot of stuff I would like my friends to see. So what the hell I guess post this as is.

Summer Video

Some clips from this spring and summer of 2010. Click “Read Rest of Entry” to view the video. All the video clips where shot within a short distance of Key West and in relatively shallow water. It takes a long time for me to get together enough clips to put something up, Catherine shoots the video mostly and she can’t always go because of work or weather. I think I am going to test out a gun cam, when I get my new gun next week. There are a lot of things I wish I had got on video but have missed out on.

Spearfishing Video, some old some new

I am laid up for a little bit and unable to dive, hopefully I will be back in the water in the next week or so. I am to the point now where I am almost stir crazy enough to break out the fishing poles. I had a few video clips from the past month or two but not really enough to do anything with. So I looked around my hard drive to see if there was anything I missed. Looking at some of the older videos I made I realized that I have learned a lot about video editing since I started. So I decided to take the stuff I liked the most out of the old clips, slap it with some new stuff, and some other old stuff that I never used and make something with it. So a lot of this has been posted before, but I am using it again but better edited. Thanks for watching, lets see how much bandwidth I we can burn up
